The Bolt 2023's electric powertrain
The Chevrolet Bolt 2023 is equipped with a 12-volt lithium-ion propulsion battery with anti-discharge protection, an on-board 11.5 kW recharging module and traction drive. The Chevrolet Bolt 2023's electric drive unit delivers 200 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. This electric Chevrolet accelerates from 0 to 96 km/h in 6.5 seconds.

Single-pedal driving
The Bolt 2023 can be driven with the accelerator pedal only. Regen on Demand single-pedal driving uses the energy recovered from normal braking to slow the vehicle down. This technology offers 4 driving modes:
- Forward by releasing the gas pedal
- Drive forward using the Regen on Demand recharging system on the rear of the steering wheel
- Low speed by releasing the gas pedal
- Low speed using the Regen on Demand recharging device.
Of course, in an emergency, you have to use the brake pedal.
Power consumption, range and recharge time
The Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicle travels up to 417 km without consuming any fossil fuel. Connected to a Level 2 charging station, this zero-emission SUV takes just 7.5 h to fully recharge.
Installing a home charging station
Chevrolet will pay for the installation of a Level 2 (240-volt) charging station at the home of eligible customers who purchase a Bolt 2023.
